Well, after the long and crazy winter that we have had, I was beginning to think that this time would never come-but Spring is finally here, and we are just now starting to see a hint of flowers blooming, trees growing, and the frost melting away in the warmth of the sun. I just love this time of year! Spring always reminds me of new beginnings, and this season is the perfect opportunity to really be grateful for what you have and to rekindle that passion for the Mustang hobby.

On a personal level, I have a lot to be thankful for, and I am especially grateful for my Mustangs Northwest Family. Due to some unfortunate and unexpected circumstances, I recently found myself at the ripe age of thirty, in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism (or more commonly known - a blood clot on my lung) and my Mustang Family was there every step of the way! Was I overwhelmed and humbled by this outpouring of love and support? Yes! Was I surprised by it? No, not really-Because in the short year that I have been a part of this club, I have come to know and appreciate the camaraderie and family atmosphere that only the car community can offer. From the cards, hugs, and visits, to the emails, phone calls, and words of encouragement, it was my Mustangs Northwest family who really got me through a tough and scary time in my life. There is no other club out there like Mustangs Northwest, and I am so humbled and honored to be a part of it!

So in this season of growth and new beginnings, I would like to encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and to learn something new about the Mustang hobby. Or better yet, take the time to teach someone else something that YOU are passionate about. There is such a wealth of knowledge and passion out there in this club, and we are doing each other a disservice if we don't all go out and share it!

Happy Spring Everyone!
