Are you feeling Lucky? Maybe the “Luck of the Irish” is on your side this year, and you have been blessed with good health and great fortune. Or perhaps you are fortunate enough to have “Lady Luck” smiling down on you, and you have received a great windfall. OR...you could be more like me—someone who believes that people make their own destiny and create their own fortune.
Throughout the month of February, I witnessed over and over again just how much can be accomplished when someone applies passion, perseverance, and good old-fashioned hard work, in pursuing their dreams. I am speaking of course, of the 2010 Winter Olympics, held right in our own “backyard” -
And like the Olympians who strove to culminate their Olympic experience on the medals podium, we too can (quite literally) “Go for the Gold” in the Mustang realm, as we have the opportunity to enter our cars in one of the upcoming judged shows. Your first opportunity (let’s call it “preliminaries”, in honor of our Olympic inspiration) is “Spring Into Summer”, which will be held at Remlinger Farms on Saturday May 8th. This warm-up opportunity gives our Mustang “athletes” a valuable training run and teaches them how to get their cars in tip-top shape, in order to achieve the Gold—the highest standing. Spring Into Summer also gives the judges a practice run on learning how to judge the cars accurately and honestly, and helps them be more prepared for “The Big One” - Our 2010 MCA Grand National.
So whether you believe in finding your own luck, or luck finding you, here is hoping that you all have great fortune this year!
