From the Prez - Feb 11
I want to thank outgoing Vice President Mike Zimmer and his group of volunteers for putting on a great Annual Banquet. The Museum of Flight at Boeing Field was the site of this year’s banquet, and those that attended had a great time! Members of the Judging Committee and Roundup Committee were recognized by their Committee chairs for their efforts during the past year. Our 2010 Officers, Board Members and other Committee Chairs also received a well deserved “Thank You” for all their efforts.
Your 2011 Officers and Board Members were introduced and I can tell you that they are all very excited to get busy with planning for 2011. I am looking forward to working with all of the other elected officers, board members, and everyone else in the club as we move forward in 2011. We sincerely hope that we can make your experience in Mustangs Northwest a positive one.
There will be no Tack Shack at our General Meetings until further notice. We have yet to find a volunteer (or volunteers) to take over for the recently retired Dave Penwell. Thanks again Dave for all your time and efforts!
Your Roundup Committee continues to work towards our 31st Annual Mustang Roundup and All Ford Picnic which will take place July 14 thru 17 this year. The next committee meeting will be on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Overlake Roundtable Pizza. Please come and volunteer to help the committee work towards making this the best ever Roundup.
In closing I would like to congratulate Mike Zimmer and the beautiful Miss Connie on becoming engaged over the Holidays. You are both great people and we all wish you the best.
