Well here’s hoping that all those April showers (and thunder showers) bring us lots of May flowers and great weather for Spring Into Summer!

 

I want to thank Rob Ogden for the great judging presentation that he did last month.  There were about 15 club members present, and I can tell you that those of you that missed it, missed a great presentation.  Rob covered all of the changes to the MCA judging classes, as well as the changes to the “Modified” classes that we will be making.

 

Thanks to Shannon Wolk and the Ford of Kirkland dealership for hosting the Mustang Birthday party last month.  As always, everyone that attended had a great time.  It was a great opportunity to collect food for those that really need assistance!

 

By the time you read this (for those of you who actually read my column!) Spring Into Summer will be history once again.  Thanks to everyone who entered the show and especially to the members of the Judged Committee for once again conducting a wonderful show.  It was a good warm-up for this year’s 31^st Annual Roundup and All Ford Picnic.  Thanks again to Remlinger Farms for hosting us!

 

We are only two (yes two) months away from the beginning of Roundup 2011!  Robin Mitchell has been diligently working the crowds at our last two general meetings to schedule volunteers.  Please sign-up for your favorite assignments as soon as possible.  If you are unable to attend the May general meeting please contact Robin and she will fix you up!

 

Your Roundup Committee continues to work towards our 31^st Annual Mustang Roundup and All Ford Picnic which will take place July 14 thru 17.  The next committee meeting will be on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Overlake Roundtable Pizza.  Please come and volunteer to help the committee work towards making this the best ever Roundup.

 

Membership is one of the things your 2011 Board of Directors is currently reviewing.  We are interested in attracting new members and retaining current members!  If you have suggestions for either of these, you can contact our Membership Chair, Deana Couture, or any other board member.  Please help make our club the best Mustang Club in the world!
