From the Prez - Nov 11
November is here and 2011 will soon be coming to a close! Can you believe it?
Our next General Meeting will be held on Friday, November 11, 2012, which is our Veteran’s Day Holiday. Please come to the meeting and help us honor all of the club members that are veterans!
For those of you that missed the October General Meeting, I would like to announce that the Board has approved Joel Schleppi as the Roundup Chairperson for 2012! Thanks to Joel for stepping up to the plate. The next Roundup Committee meeting will be held at the Woodinville Roundtable on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 7:00 PM. I encourage all of you to participate in our year-long efforts to continue to make Roundup “The World’s Largest Annual Gathering of Mustangs”!
The process to select our officers and board members continues, with the election of officers and nomination of board members at the November General meeting. The following members have been nominated for club officer positions. President – Mike Godwin; Vice-President – no nominations; Secretary – Chris Sherburn; Treasurer – Debbie Moore; and Membership – Deana Couture. We need someone to volunteer to run for Vice-President. I encourage everyone to seriously consider running for a club officer or board member position!
Bill Smallwood III is finalizing plans for our Annual Banquet, which is scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2012. Tickets will go on sale at the November General meeting.
Well I have run out of time and need to get this column off to our current and future Pony Express Editors. Thanks to Janell for all of her hard work over the past four years! Welcome to Dee Frender and we look forward to great things from Dee in the future.
