October! Can you believe it! Where did the summer go?

The show season is behind us by now and I’m not sure what we’ll do with all the free time! What a show season it has been for all of us. It provided us with opportunities to see new cars, meet new people, and just have some fun.

Our 2012 Mustang Roundup will take place on July 19 thru 22 with Saturday and Sunday again at Bellevue College. I will be signing the contract with the College this week!

The College keeps expanding and sooner or later we are going to outgrow this location. The Board has appointed Joel Schleppi to chair a committee to begin looking for alternate locations for future Roundups. If you have sites that you believe that we should consider please contact Joel or myself and we will add it to the list for consideration.

The process to select our officers and board members for 2012 officially began at the September Board Meeting. The following members were nominated for club officer positions. President – No nominations, Vice President – No nominations, Secretary – Chris Sherburn, Treasurer – Debbie Moore, and Membership Chair – Deana Couture. These nominations will be opened again at the October General Meeting. I strongly encourage one and all to consider running for an officer or Board position.

At the September Board Meeting Dee Frender was appointed by the Board to be the next Editor of the Pony Express! Janell and Dee will be working on a transition through the end of the year. Once again I would like to thank Janell for all the hard work over the last four years!
