Stangnation’s Cruise for the Fallen

On Saturday December 5th, more than 50 Mustangs met up for the “Cruise f or the Fallen”, a cruise organized by “Stangnation” to honor the four Lakewood Police officers, and Seattle Police officer Timothy Brenton, who were killed in the line of duty.  There were several Mustangs Northwest members in attendance, and they even made the local news, as they honored the fallen officers and presented a memorial plaque outside the Forza coffee shop where the Lakewood officers were killed.   It was their way of remembering the fallen officers, as they slowly drove in procession to the site, engines revving.  After participants arrived, a Bald Eagle graced the day with a fly-over.

"I hope this shows there is strength in this community. We stand united behind the Lakewood police," says Justin Stoicovy, who helped organize the event.

"Thank you for your courageous service and sacrifice to the friends and family of our fallen officers. They will be missed," he adds.

"They should be thanked every day - not just for a tragedy - but for every day they're out there on patrol," says Ryan Elkins

After participants arrived, a Bald Eagle graced the day with a fly-over.
