From The News Lady - Jan 10

I can’t believe that 2010 is already here and that I am starting on my third year as the Mustangs NW Newsletter Editor.  Where has the time gone?!?  It seems like only yesterday when I was asked to take on this task.  The club was in between newsletter editors at the time, and my parents, knowing my English teacher background, graciously “nominated” me for the position.  And now two years later, and although still without a Mustang of our own, my husband, two daughters, and I are full-fledged, fully-devoted, and full-blooded members of this fine Mustang Family!

So much has happened over the past two years, and it has been my honor to report on and to share those events with you.  From car shows, club cruises, and charity events, to banquets, cars of the month, and Holiday parties, our club has seen it all.  However, some of my favorite Mustangs NW events that I have had the pleasure of reporting on, are those events of a more personal nature.  Announcing the weddings of fellow Mustangers, births of new babies born into the Mustang family, and personal accomplishments of club members, has truly been a joy.  I have also been humbled and privledged when the families of club members who have passed on, have asked or given us the permission to print memorials in their name.  We have worked together, laughed together, and cried together, and I have truly enjoyed celebrating “LIFE” with you.

2010 is already beginning to look like a fun-filled year of Mustang events and activities, so sit back, buckle up, and hang on!

Looking forward to a Fun and Successful 2010!
